At least your mother is close and you can help her. It's much the same here, but restaurants are open for take out and delivery. (And we've been trying to help by ordering take-out pizza.) It is a mess here in the states, but there are a lot of places with still only a few cases, and hopefully we keep it that way. Stay safe.

Hi, Alex!

We can also buy takeout from restaurants and I think I've never eaten so much Thai food than these last few weeks. My husband often went for lunch to this little restaurant, and now with the corona, their only income comes from takeouts. The lady who owns the restaurant is a lovely person, so we decided we would buy takeout from her often until things normalize.
